Search Job Opportunity: JOB POSTING The Town of Howland has an immediate opening for part-time May-September park maintenance/grounds keeper position. This position normally works an average of 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will work a Monday through Thursday schedule depending on the weather. This position involves weed whacking, brush removal, planting of shrubs and flowers, litter control, raking and light maintenance of facilities. This position works outside in town owned parks and boat launches preforming light maintenance. Tools and equipment include weed trimmer, general carpentry tools and chain saw trimming small trees and shrubs. Applications will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22nd 2023. Applications are available at the Howland Town Office located at 10 Bridge Road Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM.
